Our Instructors

Mrs. Shirley or Sabum (Instructor) Shirley is the Head Instructor for In Nae Taekwon-Do.  Sabum Shirley is an ITF (International Taekwon-Do Federation) certified 4th Dan/degree black belt and a 2018 ITF World Championships Gold and Bronze Medalist.  She was an assistant instructor from 2014-2019 and started In Nae in 2020.  She participated in the 2020 and 2019 ITF International Instructor Courses.  She was a professor for 11 years and coached soccer for many years as well.  Sabum Shirley's passion is teaching and she excels at adapting to the learning style of the student.

Mr. Shirley is an In Nae Taekwon-Do ITF Certified 2nd Dan/degree black belt.  Mr. Shirley was in his 40's when he began Taekwon-Do; he is also Mrs. Shirley's husband.  He has been helping out in class since 2017 and became an "official" Assistant Instructor when In Nae TKD opened in 2020.  He is now the primary instructor for the beginner class.  Mr. Shirley also participated in the ITF International Instructor Courses in 2020 and 2019.  Mr. Shirley is a shining example that you can start Taekwon-Do at any age and that Taekwon-Do is adaptable.

Although Mrs. Shirley is the instructor for the Intermediate and Advanced classes and  Mr. Shirley is the main instructor for the Beginner classes, they work together to teach a wide variety of ages and ranks.  

Miss Feller, and Mx. Bunch help in class, as well as students blue belt and higher.
